Similan Islands are well-known for the clear-blue water and amazing powdery white sand beaches. The Similan Islands is an archipelago in the Andaman Sea which are popular for diving and snorkelling destination.
The Similan Islands hold a rich history that spans centuries. These picturesque islands, located in the Andaman Sea off the western coast of Thailand, have long been a sanctuary for seafarers, traders, and fishermen. The name “Similan” is derived from the Malay word “sembilan,” meaning “nine,” as the archipelago is comprised of nine main islands.
While the islands have been inhabited by sea gypsies in the past, they gained significant attention in the 20th century due to their exceptional natural beauty. Recognizing the importance of preserving this unique ecosystem, the Similan Islands were designated as a national park in 1982.
Pick-up included
Pick-up time: between 06 and 07h15 am depending of your location ( more info below, in the FAQ section). You will be asked your hotel name and location in the checkout page for the provider to arrange pickup and drop-off. They will confirm your pickup time a day before your activity starts. Please be aware that there can be slight delays to the pickup time because this is a shared transfer.
Please note that the Similan Islands are open for visitation during a specific period of time each year. The islands are accessible to visitors from 15th October to 15th May.
This seasonal opening is implemented to protect the delicate ecosystem of the islands during the rest of the year, allowing for natural rejuvenation and preservation.

In order to board, the company will need to record your identity information. Therefore, you should bring the passport for each passenger or, at the very least, have a photo of it on your phone. Each passenger must be able to provide their identity information before boarding.
